I ran out of time to photograph my completed home office space, I’m on a plane headed back to Florida for the summer so it will have to wait until August. I’m really pleased with how organized it is, I’ll share some iphone pics this week on Instagram as a sneak peek.
I’m staying in Florida for most of July, I’ll be tackling the primary bedroom makeover and swapping out some of the furniture that came with the house when we bought it. In the past two years, I’ve refreshed living room and family room and patio, and renovated the hall bathroom and primary bathroom. We’ve decided this isn’t our forever home, so we will eventually rent it out and purchase another home with a pool, hopefully next year. As a result, I go back and forth on just how much money and time to invest in it but I still have the bedroom spaces to personalize, they’re in need of an update.
We still haven’t made a permanent move from California to Florida, we’re in transition for at least another year, but I’m happy we’re taking our time so it doesn’t feel so rushed. Moving across the country is a big deal and we’re trying to be sensitive to family and friends who are impacted by that decision. 🙂 I am grateful I am able to travel back and forth for now.
This week I’m watching Presumed Innocent with Jake Gyllenhaal, it’s intense. I know how it ends since I’ve seen the 1990 movie, but still gripped by the story. What shows are you enjoying this summer?
